The TBM is powered by a Wright R-2600-20 rated at 1,900 hp. It carries a crew of 3 and has a maximum speed of 267 mph. Armament consists of two wing mounted .50 caliber machine guns and one turret-mounted .50 caliber machine gun. Maximum payload is 2,000 lbs of torpedo, bombs, or rockets.
